Need to integrate bar code and RFID smart label printing to an existing information system? Fast and easy integration is possible to any kind of information system that you might use.

NiceLabel offers different integration methods to control label printing from your existing software applications:

  • Non-programming integration: add printing functionalities to existing applications using NiceWatch as an integration middleware server.
  • Direct and stand-alone printing: export label files to third party applications, printers, Windows mobile devices and SAP R/3 system
  • Programming integration: change the programming structure of your existing application. Using NiceLabel as a print-engine running in the background, application developers can "call" NiceLabel through a rich ActiveX or .NET programming interface.

All mentioned integration possibilities are supported with NiceLabel software. However, the most popular integration method is a using middleware integration server NiceWatch. NiceWatch provides an affordable middleware solution when automated printing is required in a multi-operating system network or complex application environments. NiceWatch requires the input data stream upon which the predefined actions take place in the background. Usually the labels are printed out; however, you can use NiceWatch to automate other tasks as well.

To successfully print labels from your information system you must provide NiceWatch with the label data. Usually the label data from your system is exchanged with NiceWatch using text files. Each occurrence of the exported text file will trigger NiceWatch into label printing. Before the label printing takes place, you can evaluate the data contents, extract fields from the data, modify values, make custom calculations, and even make decisions.
