QC Analyst 1
This QC position helps maintain the quality of Loftware’s existing and future software products through the development, review, and execution of test cases that conform to defined functional specifications, design documents, and external application standards. Their primary focus will be on manual product testing and the support of test environments. QC Analysts will test software products, report results, log defects, and update test plans under direction of senior QC professionals.

Job responsibilities
- Manual product testing following existing test plans under supervision of senior staff
- Update test plans based on results and new test scenarios
- Create defect reports for non-compliance
- Defect reproduction and retest from existing defect reports
- Test environment setup and maintenance, including the creation of environments for other testers
- OS installs and configuration
- Product installs and configuration
- Peripheral setup (generally printers)
- Maintenance of provisioning system and procedures
- Authoring instructions for other users of the systems
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience installing and configuring Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, 2008, 2012 and/or 2016 Server)
- Enthusiasm for pushing the boundaries of digital technology
- Strong investigative and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Plus
- Experience with one or more labeling software packages
- Experience with Database environments (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Windows server administration
- Linux and/or Unix administration
- Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent training/education
