NiceLabel software does not leave you alone when the labels are printed. From the moment you issue the print command you can see the real-time status of your print job. A detailed report is always available in the printing log file, where the job status continuously updates from 'processing' to 'spooling' and finally from 'printing' to 'printed'.

For monitoring of the printing process the application NicePrintQueue gives you the insight into the current state. You can monitor not just the job file, but also the printer online status as well. Whenever an error state is reported from the printer, NicePrintQueue will display an alert. The alerts are printer-based and vary from warnings like ‘Ribbon near end’ to actual printer error situations like 'Out of ribbon’'and 'Out of labels'.

In case of printer problems, you can react fast. Actually, with NicePrintQueue you have an unique feature to move the print job from the erroneous printer to the spooler of the printer without an error state.

NiceLabel software goes beyond the local workstation print job monitoring. The products in the NiceLabel Enterprise Series were designed with multi-user environment in mind. All Enterprise clients report the print job statuses AND the status of their connected printers to the Enterprise Print Manager (EPM).

The administrator can easily manage the print jobs and printers from the remote location, even if does not have a physical access to the workstations and printers. He can pause/un-pause printers, delete print jobs, move print jobs from one printer to another, reprint labels. Actually, with EPM the administrator can access all features of NiceLabel log file and NicePrintQueue of one workstation, while sitting in a remote location (all it takes is an internet/intranet connection to the EPM and permissions to log in).
