System requirements
Standard Series
- Pentium based computer with 512 MB of RAM
- One of the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7
- Hard disk with 75 to 550 MB of free disk space (depending on the installation options). CD-ROM drive
- For Pocket NiceLabel: Windows Mobile Software for Pocket PC 2003, Windows CE 4.2, Windows Mobile 5.0, and higher or any other mobile device that supports Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0
Enterprise Series
Minimum configuration
To install and run this product without Enterprise Print Manager, you need at least the following configuration:
- Computer with Intel or compatible Pentium class processor (1 GHz or faster recommended)
- At least 512 MB of RAM
- Hard disk with 1 GB of available disk space (actual consumed disk space depends on the amount of printing activity)
- CD-ROM drive
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or higher
- Administrative rights to the local computer during installation
Recommended configuration
For optimal performance and ability to manage your printing environment remotely with EPM a solution with two computers is recommended.
Configuration for the NiceWatch Server and EPM server:
- Computer with Intel or compatible Pentium class processor (1,6 GHz or faster)
- 1 GB of RAM or more
- Hard disk with 1.2 GB of available disk space
- CD-ROM drive
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Edition, Web Edition, Enterprise Edition or Datacenter Edition; all with SP1, or Windows Server 2008
- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.0
- Internet Information Services 6 and above
- A domain user account to access the database on a separate server
- Administrative rights on the local computer during installation.
Configuration for the SQL database server:
- Computer with Intel or compatible Pentium class processor (1 GHz or faster)
- 1 GB of RAM or more
- Hard disk with 2 GB of available disk space (actual consumption depends on the amount of printing activity and the EPM database archiving frequency)
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Edition, Web Edition, Enterprise Edition or Datacenter Edition; all with SP1 or Windows Server 2008
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
Workstation requirements (NiceLabel Suite or NiceLabel Pro)
- Pentium based computer with at least 128 MB of RAM
- One of the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, or Windows 7
- Hard disk with 75 to 550 MB of free disk space (depending on the installation options)
CD-ROM drive - Administrative rights on the local computer during installation.
