Connectivity

Connecting the professional labeling software with external database source cannot be easier than it is with NiceLabel. External data sources and Programming Interfaces are in many occasions the only source of label's information and they can be:

  • Native text file support (ASCII and CSV files)
  • OLE DB and ODBC database drivers (Excel, Access, Oracle, MS SQL Server and others)
  • Borland Database Engine (BDE, for a direct dBase and Paradox support) and SQL Links (Oracle, SQL Server, Interbase...)
  • Query builder and custom SQL scripting

Other External Data Sources

XML files, Oracle XML files, DDE, ActiveX (Automation) programming interface, command line, command file, e-mail message, data coming from a serial (COM) port or TCP/IP ports, unstructured files (report file, printer command file) and many others.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) support

NiceLabel offers full support for wide range of RF tag data encoding options. RF tag data encoding options can be set for High Frequency tags (TagIt, iCode, ISO...) and Ultra High Frequency tags (ePC), including Class 1, Gen 2 support.

Printers

Label production with NiceLabel can be performed using one or more printers, either local or network connected. Although any printer with Windows driver can be used, specially developed NiceDrivers are used for professional and speed efficient printing on industrial printers.
